For the past 7+ years I have had this vac and was very pleased with it's cleaning ability. The plastic parts held up, no broken parts, until my husband started usingit when he began staying home. Before long, several things had stopped working, but men, in general are rougher on equipment, than us ladies.Anyway, the negatives were: The noise, The heaviness of the vac and it did not clean well on bare floors such as tile and wood.It cleaned wonderfully on carpet, though. It was a good little vac in its day, but I look forward to buying one that is lighter, easier on my shoulder and arms, not as loud andcleans better on bare floors.
