At $150 + shipping, this is an extremely good deal for a new unit with Hepa filter.I bought 2 Shop Vac before, one is a professional one for about $150. That lasted about 1 year of use for remodelling my house. That definitely not a light use, but not heavy use, since it's just one house. The engine burnt out after ward. My 2nd Shop Vac was about $50 online deal. It's so weak and loud now, that it's matter of time before it burns out.So, for this price, this is definitely a great buy, if it last. For lack of reviews from real users, this is definitely a negative thing and we'll see, but it's a risk for buyers.I haven't used it yet, just plugged it in. It's not super loud, and I say much quieter than the Shop Vac.The build is definitely a class above the Professional Shop Vac, which is not a surprised for this since it's labelled as commercial. However, for the current price of $150, it probably will sell out quick after some people start write/read these review.Pros:- Study build, strong plastic container, strong wheels (with 2 large back wheels). The back wheels are plastic, but very strong. Include a strong handle.- Includes plenty of accessories that appears to be of strong build- Good length hose pipes (stainless steel)- Good document/instruction- The plastic hose is not super high quality, but much better than regular shop vacuum.- Relatively quiet compared to others- Support instant switch wet/dry- Most if not all holes/connections have rubber gasket, which is good for Hepa filtration- Has a nice plastic container for accessoriesCons:- Will need a few tools to assemble, and will take about 30 minutes to put together (26 steps)- Can tip backward easily (the rear wheels should be a bit more back)- The metal bottom is cumbersome to put together, can scratch wood stairs easily. Would be nice to have just 1 strong piece of mold plastic for the bottom.- Big disappointment is no paper bag filter besides the Hepa and foam filter. It's not easy to make one, or use one from others either. I will need to make an adapter for that rectangle hole inside. Would be nice to include at least a cloth bag filter with a zipper at the bottom (I intended to make one myself).- The Hepa filter is pushed in, without any turning lock or large screw at the bottom, seem not good for this heavy duty type.- Power cord is a 1 tab for hanging on, versus 2 tabs for winding around. Again, a bit bad design. Probably wrap around the handle is fine.- The two plastic locks of the power head appears to be a bit flimsy for a commercial vac- The whole plastic vac container doesn't have any lock to the metal cart. It just sit there. For a heavy load and carrying around, it may not be very sturdy (in the forward direction)- The suction end of the hose is small, I think it's 1 inch or 1 and a quarter. So this definitely doesn't have the same suction of a regular size shop vac hose. I am bit surprised by that shrink down trick.- Having spent several hours trying to make an adapter for a paper bag and haven't done yet. Search online doesn't turn up anything.Overall, I think minor cons aside, it's a very good piece for the price. If you are paying much higher, then consider other vac first.Two big negatives that we'll see is the high risk due to lack of users feedback, and translate to the return of investment and the paper bag.I think you can remove the inner container so you can have a much larger space for dry vacuum.I strongly recommend this product at $150 price with note of the risk of the motor without much feedback, the lack of paper dust bag and few other minor negatives.
