I do commercial cleaning partime and use one of these on a daily basis. Its light so you can pick it up and vacuum stairs. The hose does kink and does have memory which is not good. The hose pulls out of the vacuum to often. The screw top lid can loosen and it leaks dirt between the top of the vacuum and the bag. I love there 150 cfm power motor and would use nothing less in a vacuum. The bags are expensive. I have also used their backpacks which work very well but are not suggested for home use because in tight quarters you can knock things over when you turn. For the cost of this vacuum I would look at others because I think their designers did not get the mentioned quirks out before releasing it.I just looked over the Miele and it has a 150 cfm motor better,great guarentee,kinkless hose,quiet operation,expensive bags and its german made. I use the german wessel works attachments for 1.25 wands and find them inexpensive and very efficent. I prefer not using heads with brushes because the wear out carpet and throw alot of dust into the air so thats why I use 150 cfm only.
