I bought this vacuum 7+ years ago from a shop that I had taken my Dyson in to be repaired. I had sucked up a coin that apparently blew the motor. I was told how great it was for people with allergies and asthma. My son and I have both so I gave it a try. I have used and owned many different kinds; Kirby, rainbow, Panasonic, Dyson, shark, etc...NONE can hold a candle to my sebo! 7+ years and still has super strong suction, works great on wood and carpet. I have had no problems with hoses or filters. I have changed my exhaust filter 1 time and have had no problems. It is a little heavy, but my 12 yr old daughter can carry it up the stairs. I do use the long hose attachment for stairs and I did ruin my new kitchen mat because the beater bar keeps turning even when you are using the hand held attachment. I have 2 cats and 5 kids, I have sucked up pretty much everything imaginable and it just keeps going. I will always own Sebo!I would highly recommend it to everyone!
